The objective of the Barcelona Development Research Group (barcelona|drg) is to bring together development economists from the different universities and research centers that are affiliated to the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics.
The center collaborates regularly with researchers from other universities and research centers around the world. The basic aim of the center is to use the scientific method to analyze issues related with economic development either from a macroeconomic perspective or from a microeconomic point of view.
The affiliated researchers are able to develop projects in many different areas of expertise ranging from the macroeconomic analysis of the economic effects of institutional reform to the impact evaluation of projects and programs.
